Facebook

Facebook is becoming a bad habit for me. I still do not know all the fancy gadgits, but I can find friends. Instead of doing my grad school work, I've been searching for friends. It's a little sad when you only have 11 and everyone else has at least 100. I'll never compete with social butterfly Travis. Who knew that social networking could be so lonely?

I have just experienced the power of Facebook when a major thing happened and everyone involved used Facebook to get informed and share information. Without Facebook I would have been clueless and frustrated about what was going on, and I was amazed by how quickly the connections happened and how quickly information was shared. Since I didn't know the email addresses or phone numbers of anyone involved, I can't think of any other way we would have connected ... it was interesting to experience ...
